RAC Ashford Ltd. is looking for:
A Planning Engineer

Scope of work:

Responsible for the provision of tentative schedules at tender stage for commercial submissions and detailed EPCI/operational schedules in execution phases.
Responsible for the provision of all Planning functions on a Project including baseline set-up, updates, progress reporting and monitoring, forecasting.


•Development of tentative planning during bidding period of Tender.
•Manage all Planning functions on the Project, in accordance with the client’s procedures and practices.
•Development of Project Specific Procedures including Work Breakdown Structure and progress measurement methods in accordance with Internal and Company requirements.
•Organise flow of planning and progress information with internal and external sources.
•Development and maintenance of the Baseline schedule for Company’s approval including planned progress S-curves (Early and Late) and reporting formats.
•Prepare progress reports in a timely fashion including statement of critical paths and deviations against approved baseline.
•Prepare forecast schedules based on actual project status and anticipated evolutions.
Prepare specific schedules and what-if simulations as well as summary sheets and sub planning phases critical path analysis.
•Ensure that Changes are taken into consideration and be pro-active in early identification of deviations and corrective actions.
•Preparation of the Project Planning Report and ensuring planning input for Corporate reporting is provided in a timely fashion.
•Work hand in hand with the Project Managers or Project Tendering Manager.

Profile required

•Project Planning experience of 3 - 5 years in the O&G and Renewable offshore business,
•Fully conversant in English verbally and in writing is a requirement.
•Strong computer skills including Primavera, Microsoft Project, Excel and affiliate software.
•Ability to work under minimal supervision and effectively manage multiple/changing priorities
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
•Proactive and flexibility mind set.
•Team player.
•Ability to take an overall view and critical mind.
•Able to travel to others S7 regions (NL/DE) for short duration
France (Paris Area)
