RAC Ashford Ltd. is looking for:
A Operation-Marine Site Advisor

Scope of work:

Project Marine Advising,

performing :
• adhoc desk top review of possible third party vessels to be chartered
• adhoc Marine site visit and audits
• Review & agree third party vessels selection before charter, in coordination with POM and Project Marine Advisor
• Inspects, audits on vessels prior use on project ; giving feedback on inspection, capability of vessel, crew
• Follow up inspection, audits with projects and SCM Chartering department, and ensure the issue of relevant report, and that all findings reported are closed on a timely manner
• Liaise with the concerned client for mutual vessel inspection (if required), and agree/argue on solutions to close desk top review and inspection findings
• Marine expertise to support resolution of any marine technical issues and findings on vessels used by projects (Subsea 7 fleet and third party Vessels)
• In case of incident involving Marine activities, on Subsea 7 Vessels and Third party Vessels, Marine EXPERT for all investigations, identification of findings and implementation of improvement/changes
• Update the 3rd party vessels database with all specifications, audits, certificates Update and follow up the use of naval spread with the marine log coordinator to determine precisely future needs
• pre operations kick-off meeting participation with Owners and project (including HSE meeting held before starting project)
• Project Operations debriefing and Lessons Learned session attending, and update the Marine standard documentation, when required

Required profile :

Exhaustive knowledge of:

Current marine legislation,
Vessel type being inspected,
Technological advances in vessel/equipment,
Standard charter parties (BIMCO,) and IMCA guidelines.
